Been planning this boat trip in Croatia and wracking my brain over what to pack. Want to keep it light but also don't want to miss out on anything essential. Any input from those who've done such trips? What would be some must-haves? Any suggestions on clothing type or tech gadgets that could enhance the whole experience? Personal experiences would be appreciated.

I'd pack versatile clothes like light layers and swimwear, don't forget sunscreen and a hat. A waterproof bag for your gadgets might be useful too. Have you considered binoculars for sightseeing?

Binoculars for sightseeing on a boat trip? That seems a bit much. Any reason why they might be particularly useful?

Actually, binoculars could, in a way, limit your experience. The beauty of a boat trip lies in the panoramic views and the immensity of the sea which you can't really capture through the narrow perspective of binoculars. On the contrary, disconnecting from gadgets and enjoying nature in all its vastness can be much more rewarding. But again, it's just my two cents. What do you think?

Might want to pack a sense of humor – it's waterproof and helps when you're adrift with your sea legs. Any tips on keeping spirits high when the seas get rough?
