What documentation is required to legally drive in Croatia?

Got a road trip planned through the beautiful landscapes of Croatia, but I'm a bit stumped over here. Just wrestling with the info on what kind of paperwork or docs I need to have in order to drive around legally over there. You know, Driver’s license, International Driving Permit, Vehicle registration stuff, green card, maybe? Any other hidden rules I should be aware of? Would be really nice if a native Croatian or someone who has driven there could sort this out. Thanks a ton in advance!

One thing to remember is insurance; make sure your policy covers you in Croatia. Roadside assistance number is also handy just in case. Oh, and check if there are any specific local laws, like carrying a reflective vest and warning triangle in the car – those are mandatory over there. Drive safe!

Definitely check up on toll fees and the vignette system for highway usage in Croatia. It's different from some other European countries, and you don't want to get caught off guard by unexpected charges. Also, don't forget to familiarize yourself with parking rules, especially in busy tourist spots – they can be pretty strict, and fines are a bummer.

Also, keep an eye on speed limits, as they can vary, especially in residential areas and near schools. Lastly, make sure your headlights are on during the day – it’s a rule there!
