Been noodling around with this idea in my head and thought I'd toss it out here. Do you guys know of any farms that really go all out when it comes to agrotourism, especially for school groups or educational visits? I'm talking about places where the little ones can really get their hands dirty, feeding the animals, planting crops, that kind of thing. Not just a quick petting zoo trip, but something where they can really learn about farming and agriculture. What are your thoughts? Any good recommendations?

That sounds intriguing! Have any of you visited these farms personally? Can you share your experiences? Any particular highlights or things we should bear in mind while planning such a visit?

Not really sure about that. Can't say I've heard of any farms offering what you're looking for. Maybe others have more info?

Are there perhaps any farm-to-table programs in the mix? Do schools get to consume what they grow on these agrotourism adventures?

So, are there any programs specifically designed for different ages or curriculum needs?

Just make sure if there's a cow-milking activity, it's not followed by a milk-chugging contest! And for sure, remind the kids that farm-fresh eggs don't come from the supermarket!

Not so sure about this. Sounds like a logistical nightmare. Can't see how it'd be practical.

Honestly, I doubt it's even feasible. Seems too complex and probably not that engaging for the kiddos.
