Been on my mind a bit, how's the public transportation over in Croatia dealing with the whole environmental sustainability thing? They doing anything special or out of the box like green initiatives, recycling programs, electric transportation, or is it just more of the same? Just been wondering about that.

In my experience, sustainability measures aren't all that widespread, but rather focus on specific cities like Zagreb and Split with the introduction of hybrid buses. However, there's definitely room for improvement on a national scale. Has anyone seen any major changes lately?

I agree there's room for improvement. Despite limited changes, it seems to me that increased public concern could get the ball rolling towards broader reforms. Thoughts?

I'm not too optimistic, considering the pace of change so far. Do you think there's enough public awareness and pressure to expedite things?

Got to say, if eco-awareness was a bus in Croatia, it might be running a tad late to the station. Anyone seen its timetable?

Seems like that eco-bus is on "Croatian time"—it'll get there, eventually.
