  • Visit the Elaphiti Islands with a traditional Croatian boat to enjoy the pristine beaches and clear waters.
  • Explore the Kornati archipelago, a national park with over 140 islands offering spectacular snorkeling and diving opportunities.
  • Book a sailing trip around the islands of Hvar, Brač, and Vis to experience the rich history and exquisite local wines.
Just had this idea buzzing in my head - dreaming about the clear blue waters of the Croatian coast. Got me thinking, have any of you ever done one of those boat trips around the Croatian islands? Hunting for recommendations. Any travel companies you’d recommend or certain islands that can’t be missed? Bonus points for hidden gems. Drop your experiences!

Oh absolutely, the excitement of cruising through those islands is unparalleled. Don't forget to add Hvar and Korčula to your list, they're stunning! Plus, check out local operators for an authentic experience. They've got hidden routes not many know about. Would love to hear others' thoughts!

Dalmatia, in southern Croatia, offers incredible boat tours. The Pakleni Islands have hidden beaches and private coves that just can't be seen from the shore. And if you're into history, the medieval architecture on Brač island is stunning. That said, one of the best experiences is just relaxing on deck under the Mediterranean sun. Anyone else have some must-see-islands up their sleeve?

Has anyone come across any secluded spots in the likes of Vis or Lastovo? A bit off the beaten track, might be a good shout for some peace and quiet. Thoughts?

Skeptical about those off-beat paths, folks. Sometimes going less known routes means less infrastructure and potential hiccups. Any reassurances?

Hmm, wonder if these off-the-map spots might be a little too remote? Hunger for adventure and all, but what about facilities and accessibility?

I'd strongly suggest spending a day or two just exploring Zadar Archipelago on a rented boat. You can be your own skipper and steer the course wherever you want. Perfect opportunity for finding your own hidden getaway. Speaking of, any tips for amateur sailors out there?

I'm more drawn to off-the-grid destinations myself and found the Elaphiti Islands to be a perfect fit. It's a group of 13 islands, but only three are inhabited: Koločep, Lopud, and Šipan. It offers a beautiful mix of sandy beaches, lush vegetation, and rich history. Check out those, you might find what you are looking for. Keep me posted, would love to know how your plan progresses!

Don't miss out on the Blue Cave in Biševo. It's magical! Be sure to check the best times for your visit to experience its full glory. Got it?

Another spot to think about is the Blue Lagoon on Budikovac Island. Blue sea as far as the eye can see, ideal for snorkeling. Worth a spin, right?

Seems like there's a bit of stress over the planning. Just remember, there are no wrong choices here. Each spot has its own charm you're bound to enjoy!

Anyone dived into Mljet National Park? Is the diving there as epic as the photos suggest?
